
From September 12 to 14, 2024, the 2024 High-Voltage Electrical Technology Seminar and Forum on High Quality Development of Power Transmission and Distribution Equipment was successfully held in Wenzhou, under the theme “Empowering Power Transmission and Distribution Innovation with New-Quality Productivity.”

The event was jointly organized by Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd. and the Substation Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, with co-organization by the National Engineering Research Center for High Voltage Electrical Equipment, the National Technical Innovation Center for Market Regulation (Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment, Preparatory), and Xing Electric Appliance Group.
Industry experts and scholars shared the latest research and technological progress in areas including grid integration of renewable energy, performance of power equipment under extreme environmental conditions, new DC transmission technologies, and advances in transmission and distribution equipment development.
The forum featured three parallel technical sessions focusing on advanced eco-friendly switchgear technologies and applications, the impact of extreme natural environments on external insulation, and applications of hydrogen energy and energy storage technologies. These sessions enabled in-depth technical exchanges among engineers, researchers, and industry professionals.
During the event, Xing Electric welcomed participants and highlighted ongoing industry challenges and opportunities driven by technological innovation and industrial transformation. The company also presented a range of eco-friendly switchgear solutions, including solid-insulated, laminated, and semi-solid insulated core units, designed to meet diverse application requirements and support the development of sustainable power systems.

In addition, Xing Electric showcased its digital switchgear solutions, such as digital eco friendly switchgear, digital ring main unit operating mechanisms, and an intelligent expert diagnostic system for switchgear, aimed at improving power supply quality and operation & maintenance efficiency.
