Fire Safety Drill: Building Team Readiness for Emergencies

On the afternoon of November 27, 2025, our new manufacturing facility hosted the second-half fire safety drill of the year. All on-site staff, including 33 new hires, joined this immersive session—crafted to boost our team’s fire safety awareness, hone hands-on fire-fighting skills and sharpen our ability to handle unexpected emergencies.

A simulated fire alarm blared suddenly, and the drill area was instantly filled with non-toxic safety smoke. Split into 8 teams for evacuation, everyone immediately covered their mouths and noses, crouched low and moved along the walls, quickly navigating the corridors via pre-planned routes to the emergency assembly point downstairs. The fastest team finished the evacuation in just 1 minute and 10 seconds, the slowest in 2 minutes and 14 seconds—with smooth, orderly movement the whole time.

Our certified fire safety instructor led a key briefing, drawing on real factory fire cases from this year to break down the golden 3-minute response protocol for the moments right after a fire starts. They also demonstrated how to use different types of fire extinguishers on-site, walking through the standard PASS technique step-by-step: Pull the pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the lever, and Sweep from side to side. The new hires each took a turn for hands-on practice, turning textbook knowledge into muscle memory in a realistic simulated environment with real smoke, small open flames and genuine operational pressure. Every single one successfully put out the flames—zero mistakes, all the way through.

This drill gave our new team members an immersive feel for the urgency of fire evacuation, and they’ve now mastered the proper use of fire-fighting equipment. It’s also significantly raised the team’s overall fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, bolstering our company’s fire safety defenses even further.
