Xingji Electric Lean Management Study Tour in Japan

Following the rapid economic rise of Japan after World War II, Japanese manufacturing became a global leader. Its production management systems have long been studied and emulated by companies worldwide. Classic management methods such as Lean Production, 5S, Visual Management, and Total Quality Management were either originated by Japanese enterprises or developed by foreign scholars based on studies of Japanese companies.

Increasingly, Chinese companies—especially in manufacturing—have begun adopting lean management practices into their own production systems.

As a company committed to innovation and development, Xingji Electric actively organized a study tour to Japan to gain deeper insights into the strengths of Japanese manufacturing, particularly the exceptional onsite production management. By visiting several representative Japanese manufacturing enterprises, the company aimed to explore the root causes of their operational excellence and to revisit and refine the lean management practices, such as Lean Production and 5S, that have already been introduced or implemented in Xingji’s domestic operations.
