CB cardle

The cradle is primarily used in withdrawable switchgear to house components such as circuit breakers and current transformers, enabling their insertion and withdrawal, and serving as an auxiliary mechanism for connecting the components to the busbars. When the cradle is interlocked with the internal mechanisms of the circuit breaker and other components within the medium-voltage cabinet, it satisfies the “Five Preventive” interlock requirements specified in GB 3906.

The Product Features

1、The circuit breaker can only be closed when the handcart is in the test/isolation or working position. Once the circuit breaker is closed, the handcart cannot be moved, thereby preventing the occurrence of erroneous connection or closing of the isolation contacts under load.

2、When the handcart is in the working position or is approximately 10mm away from the test/isolation position, the earthing switch cannot be closed, preventing the erroneous closing of the earthing switch when the equipment is live.

3、When the earthing switch is closed, the handcart cannot be moved from the test/isolation position to the working position, preventing the circuit breaker from being closed with the earthing switch in the closed position.

4、Once the cradle has entered the cabinet and moved out of the test/isolation position, the handcart cannot be withdrawn from the cabinet.
